Event Description
How can the church teach and live out grace and truth in regard to sexuality? How can we offer biblical, effective, and compassionate ministry-within the historic Christian position-to the myriad of individuals in our society? Author and guest speaker Mark Yarhouse will facilitate honest dialogue among pastors, leaders, and scholars as we seek to understand issues - same sex attraction, gender dysphoria, and transgenderism, and the like - for effective leadership in today's world.
About Our Presenter
Mark Yarhouse, Psy.D., is professor of psychology at Regent University and founder of the Institute for the Study of Sexual Identity (ISSI). He is a committed evangelical Christian who is highly regarded as an expert in issues dealing with sexual and gender identity. He is author of Homosexuality and the Christian and Understanding Gender Dysphoria.
Cancellations
Cancellations before March 31 will receive a full refund. Cancellations on or after March 31 will receive 50% of the registration fee. Cancellations less than 24 hours before the event will receive no refund.
