Event Description

Do distinct cultural regions reflect unique sets of virtues? Do distinct faith perspectives also endorse different sets of virtues?  To what extent might virtues, as reflections of community ideals, serve as a starting point for intercultural understanding, bridging the typical divides of place, culture, and faith?  A comparative study of virtues from 14 countries was performed exploring the connections between faith, place, and culture in order to assess the utility of virtues as horizons for intercultural understanding.
