*But What Do You Want? Faculty Expectations from Student Writing

Many of our students struggle to understand, in a general way, what their instructors look for in their writing. Similarly, many instructors wonder what they can reasonably expect from student texts. During this session, we will explore these questions: What do you value in student writing? What do your colleagues expect? How can we as a faculty community advise our students in meeting our consensus standards for good academic writing?
