Event Description
Christians recognize their responsibility to care for, as well as their right to use, God's good creation. Our responsible stewardship of nature now requires, among other things, reliable assessment of the evidence for human-induced climate change and its likely consequences. But perplexed Christians often ask: When it comes to discerning the facts of this matter, who can we trust?
Join us for an evening of conversation with V (Ram) Ramanathan, Ph.D., Ramanathan is a distinguished professor of atmospheric and climate sciences at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, University of California, San Diego (UCSD). Ramanathan leads innovative research projects involving global climate dynamics, the greenhouse effect, air pollution, and climate mitigation.
