Event Description
After spending four months in the Middle East in a very nontraditional study abroad program, Merissa Louks will reflect on her time studying ongoing conflicts in the region: the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the conflict in Syria, and the conflict in Iraq. She will discuss what she learned about the human side of these conflicts by living with, teaching, and being friends with people who live the daily reality of these divisive conflicts.
