Event Description
This is part of a series of gatherings designed to give pastors and ministry leaders the opportunity to learn from one another as we seek to develop whole-life disciples in our church communities. Each gathering focuses on a different topic and is facilitated by pastors who have especially considered how the topic shapes their approach to pastoring. Our topic at this gathering:
The Challenges of Preaching on Whole-Life Discipleship
Hear a panel of veteran pastors, plus the Sermon Competition winner, share their personal experiences with preparing and delivering sermons on whole-life discipleship. Learn about the challenges they’ve encountered, how they overcame barriers, and how they’ve encouraged their congregations to embrace the integration of faith, work, vocation, and economics.
Our speakers:
- Aaron Brockmeier, Senior Pastor, Faith Baptist Church, Minneapolis, Minnesota
- Tim Caspers, Lead Pastor, CrossWinds Community Church, Stillwater, Minnesota
- Erik Dunkin, College Pastor, Prairie Lakes Church, Cedar Falls, Iowa
Make plans now to join us for a meal and fellowship this summer!
