Event Description

“Vocation does not mean a goal that I pursue. It means a calling that I hear. Before I can tell my life what I want to do with it, I must listen to my life telling me who I am.” — Parker J. Palmer, Let Your Life Speak: Listening for the Voice of Vocation

God cares about your vocation. He also cares about the vocations of those you serve. Have you ever paused to consider how God has personally wired you? Have you stopped to listen for what he’s calling you to do with your time and talents? Taking time for personal reflection is an important part of your faith journey. Bethel Seminary students and alumni in the Twin Cities are invited to spend a day engaged in vocational discernment in a peaceful woodland setting. Get clarity on your calling and learn how to shepherd those you minister to as they seek to discover their own path. Learn how to determine your best occupational fit and connect your day-to-day activities with your faith. Tend to your soul as you reflect upon the many roles you play!
