Event Description

Bethel University welcomes its Act Six semifinalists and their families to campus! Below is an overview of the two-day visit: 

Sunday Schedule
2 p.m. | Semifinalist and Family Check-In and Luggage Drop-Off | Lundquist Community Life Center (CLC) Lobby
2:30 p.m. | Welcome Program | Eastlund Room (CLC Level 2)
3:15 p.m. | Campus Tour | Meet in Eastlund Room (CLC Level 2)
4:30 p.m. | Financial Aid One-on-Ones and Family Reception | AC Lounge
6 p.m. | Three-Strand Cord Dinner | Olson Boardroom (Brushaber Commons (BC) Level 4)

This concludes the family portion of the visit. After dinner, finalists will meet their overnight student host (a current Bethel student of the same gender) and pick up their luggage.

Following the closing program, finalists will collect their belongings and depart campus.

Act Six is an urban leadership development and mentoring program administered in the Twin Cities by Urban Ventures. Each year, Act Six selects 30-40 of the Twin Cities’ most promising urban leaders to receive a full-tuition, full-need scholarship to one of five partner colleges. Each scholar graduates with a fully funded college career and is prepared to return to his or her community to make a lasting impact.
