Event Description

The world of work regularly overlaps with the community of faith. What does this look like in everyday life? If you are a pastor, it can mean wrestling with how to shepherd a group of believers who are serious about whole-life discipleship. If you work in the marketplace, it may involve balancing your personal career ambition with good biblical principles.

This seminar features a Silicon Valley pastor, author, and radio host who leads a congregation of career-minded people. Hear about the challenges he faces in his ministry and how he serves his flock. Pastors, ministry leaders, marketplace professionals, and community members are invited to consider:

  • The connection between faith and work in the marketplace
  • Coping with the fast-paced demands of today's work environment
  • Living as an authentic Christ-follower in all situations
  • The theological basis for whole-life discipleship

Spend time exploring these issues and more as you learn about faithful Christian living in light of workplace pressures.
