Event Description

Are you overwhelmed with debt? Do you shudder whenever someone says it's time to "create a budget"? Financial planning is not easy, and many people freeze at the thought of even beginning the process to plan. However, no matter what stage of life you are in - searching for or starting your first job, transitioning careers, or caring for your family as a stay-at-home parent - financial planning is crucial to developing a healthy financial and personal wellbeing.

During this workshop, learn to build a comprehensive strategy encompassing the following areas:

  • Pay off debt
  • Set reachable goals in your financial planning
  • Maximize your employee benefits, like the 401K
  • Manage risk
  • Navigate the current market

Led by former Chief Investment Officer and Executive Vice President of Wells Fargo and adjunct faculty in the Business Department Dean Junkans and financial advisor Ryan McDowell '12, this workshop will allow you to walk away with confidence in your financial planning strategies.

The Office of Alumni and Family Relations, in partnership with BUYA (Bethel University Young Alumni), invites you to join other alumni and Bethel seniors for this valuable session on financial planning to build a strong investing foundation.

Heavy appetizers will be served. All are welcome!
