Event Description
Are you overwhelmed with debt? Do you shudder whenever someone says it's time to "create a budget"? Financial planning is not easy, and many people freeze at the thought of even beginning the process to plan. However, no matter what stage of life you are in - searching for or starting your first job, transitioning careers, first married, or caring for your family as a stay-at-home parent - financial planning is crucial to developing a healthy financial and personal wellbeing. Financial health can not only improve your relationships with others, but also your relationship with God as you learn that He cares about your finances, too.
During this workshop, learn to build a comprehensive strategy to:
- Pay off debt
- Set reachable goals in your financial planning
- Maximize your employee benefits
- Manage risk
- Navigate the current market
Led by former Chief Investment Officer and Executive Vice President of Wells Fargo and adjunct faculty in the Business Department Dean Junkans and financial advisor Ryan McDowell '12, this workshop will allow you to walk away with confidence in your financial planning strategies. (Questions are welcome, too!)
The Office of Alumni and Family Relations, in partnership with BUYA (Bethel University Young Alumni) and Sam Steadman '16 of RE/MAX Results, invites you to join other alumni and Bethel seniors for this valuable session.
Heavy appetizers will be served. This event is designed with BUYA (alumni 10 years out and less) in mind, but ALL are welcome! Friends and family are welcome, as well.
Can't be there in person? Follow the Bethel University Alumni Instagram account to catch the LIVE stream!
