Event Description

This two-day training is sponsored by the Marital and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling programs at Bethel Seminary San Diego and the Gottman Institute's University Outreach Program.

Gottman Method Couples Therapy is an evidence-based approach to clinical intervention that is internationally recognized as the standard for couples therapy. This 10.75-hour filmed training includes:

  • Demonstrations of the Gottmans using this therapy method with real clients
  • Thorough explanation of Dr. John Gottman's landmark research with couples
  • A 300-page clinical training manual featuring 25 relationship assessment questionaires and interventions
  • Gottman Level 1 Certificate of Completion

CEU Option: 10.75 CEU credits available for an additional $29.99. After you have attended the event you will need to send proof of course completion with your payment to The Gottman Institute. More details will be available at the event.
