Event Description
Dr. Luther E. Smith Jr. will deliver a presentation on Howard Thurman's witness for our personal and collective opportunities to overcome oppression and alienation. Thurman's prophetic mysticism has influenced persons who have shaped creative movements in our history.
Dr. Luther E. Smith Jr. is a world-renowned expert on Howard Thurman. He is the author of Howard Thurman: The Mystic as Prophet and Intimacy and Mission: Intentional Community as Crucible for Radical Discipleship.
