Event Description

"And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise." Deuteronomy 6:6-7

"Deuteronomy calls followers of Yahweh to live lives that are completely devoted to him. This passage shows that the words of God are to be a part of every aspect of life, big or small, public or private. This is in keeping with the overall view of the Torah that every moment of every day is an opportunity to show loyalty to God or disloyalty; all of life matters. This remains the calling of Christ-followers today." Inspirational words from Dr. Peter Vogt, Bethel Seminary Dean.
