Event Description
Is the US experiencing an 'opioid epidemic' or a 'pain epidemic'? Are nurses a part of the problem or part of the solution? Is 'moral failure' the central driving factor in the epidemic? How can we think about harm reduction strategies from a Christian perspective?
Dave Muhovich will discuss the challenges facing our society from the scientific literature as well as from close association via a family member's sufering.
