June 26-27, 2021

This day camp is designed for local youth grades 5-12. Instruction for this camp is focused on athletes who want to compete at high levels. Campers will enhance and perfect their skills in an environment that's both challenging and encouraging.

About the Camps
The Bethel University Christian Girls Basketball Elite Camp strives to provide opportunities for players to grow spiritually and athletically. This camp is geared toward athletes who seek to compete at a high level. Campers receive instruction from Christian coaches and basketball players who will promote spiritual growth and teach core basketball skills. The instruction is nondenominational so that players from all church backgrounds will feel welcome.

Camp Staff
Camp Director: Head Basketball Coach at Bethel University, Jon Herbrechtsmeyer leads the camp with over 30 years of collegiate coaching experience. Herbrechtsmeyer has helped train numerous athletes while at Gustavus Adolphus College, Wayne State University, the University of Sioux Falls, Cornell College, and Bethel University. "Herbie" has found great success among collegiate teams as he has taken a number of teams to the playoffs including, USF in 1995 and 1996, Cornell in 2000 and 2002, and Bethel in 2006, 2009, 2011, 2012, and 2014-2019.

About the Facility
The Bethel Basketball Camps use the facilities of Bethel University - a beautiful, wooded campus on the lake shores of Lake Valentine in Arden Hills, Minn. The campus has an air-conditioned gymnasium with two full-sized basketball courts, a 50,000 square foot fieldhouse with four full courts, a training room, locker room with shower facilities, weight room, and air-conditioned classrooms.

Campers will be provided lunch in Bethel’s Dining Center for this camp.
