Event Description

Mentors and mentees, we are excited to come together in person to celebrate and reflect on this past year of mentorship. We will hear a special greeting from President Ross Allen, and we will recognize and pray over the senior students as they get ready to launch their careers. In addition, we have the privilege of hearing from Becca Hoeft ‘89 as our keynote speaker.

Please Note: This event is only open to current BethelBiz mentors and mentees.

Keynote Speaker Topic: Finding the Beauty in Chaos
2020 and 2021 will go down in history as the time when the pandemic shook our world. We’ve learned that the way forward isn’t always easy. But, armed with an abundant mindset and our faith, we have an opportunity to do something special whether it’s in your first job or your final classes before you graduate. Becca Hoeft, Chief Brand Officer at Sunrise Banks, will share her life story and the things she’s learned along the way.

About Becca:
As a marketing, public relations and corporate communications leader, Becca (only her mom calls her Rebecca) started her career in consulting and has been involved with six startups ranging from film, fashion, technology and food, with her first startup being a social enterprise importing leather fashion accessories made by single mothers in Nairobi, Kenya. Speaking across the country, she is known for using business as a force for good, leading award-winning teams and received recognition from the red carpet at Cannes Film Festival for Best Media Campaign, MSPBJ Women in Business, MN 500 and most recently, the global award of Top Women in Communications Leadership. Becca is also one of the founding members of The 25 at Bethel University. The 25 is a four-year cohort program designed to empower female students of all majors and interests to use their strengths, passions, and skills to “go beyond.” When the day is done, you’ll find Becca behind a good travel book planning her next adventure, plunking a tune on the piano, or laughing with her dear family.
