  • Consistent with CDC and MDH guidelines, face coverings are recommended, regardless of vaccination status, indoors when 6' social distancing cannot be maintained. Face coverings are required while in academic settings (classrooms, labs, etc) when 6' distancing cannot be maintained.
  • There are currently no capacity restrictions on the size of university events, but Bethel community members and guests are strongly encouraged to consider distancing to the extent possible to limit the spread of COVID-19.

  3. Updates and Strategic Directions in CAPS/SEM/GS | CAPS, Sem, and GS Associate Provost, Dr. Randy Bergen

7 – 8 p.m. | Faculty Professional Development (7 - 7:30 p.m. and 7:30 – 8 p.m. Breakout Sessions)

With a goal of continuing discussion and dialogue, we are revisiting the content of two breakout sessions from the Fall Retreat. Thirty minutes will be dedicated to each session. The presenter(s) will open with a brief overview of the sessions' key concepts (10 minutes) followed by a small panel of faculty sharing how they are applying their session takeaways in the classroom (5+ minutes), and concluding with participants engaging in further discussion with Fall Faculty Meeting attendees (15 minutes). Our goal is to strengthen classroom communications by diving deeper into these topics.

7:30 – 8 p.m. | Beyond "Good Job": Tips for Authentic and Constructive Feedback on Student Assignments | Laura Gilbertson, ABD, and Jessica Daniels, Ph.D.
