Event Description
1. Do you have the eyes to see and the ears to hear the unacknowledged all around us?
2. Who are the individuals and groups in our schools, churches, and communities that are hidden in plain view and screaming from the shadows?
This interactive and thought-provoking presentation challenges leaders to expand their capacity to see gifts where others only perceive problems, hear value in the stories of unlikely partners, and work for transformation and change in self and others. Ellison will offer research-based strategies to heighten awareness to the unacknowledged and circumnavigate some primary fears that stifle meaningful dialogue. While wearing multiple hats as professor, author, and activist, Ellison and his colleagues at Fearless Dialogues have created spaces for nearly 50,000 leaders domestically and internationally to engage in hard, heartfelt conversations.
