Senior Field Instructor Orientation

This field orientation session will give opportunity to:

• Review Bethel's Field Program and Performance Assessment Instrument and Evaluation process

• Introduce you to our new program director and field liaison faculty 

• Offer practical tips to address supervision roles, student perspectives and ethical scenarios 

• Review safety considerations, reporting procedures and student improvement plan processes 

• Develop ways to support developmental professional growth through the "learning contract" with a focus on the 9 social work competencies contextualized in your field setting

At 10:45 a.m. students will join our session. Your student will work with you to begin the development of their detailed learning contracts through breakout rooms or directly if the student is with you at your agency. Your student intern will be developing an initial draft of their learning contract for this planning session.
