Event Description
Winter Thaw is a one-day retreat that will warm up your soul with ice-breakers, small-group discussions, and fun. This retreat is designed for high school students (grades 9-12) who are interested in growing as truth-seekers and world-changers.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this event follow any specific COVID-19 guidelines? Yes. Safety is a priority at Bethel. For that reason, we will require participants to wear masks and practice 6-foot physical distancing. In addition, upon arrival, all participants will go through a health screening.
What happens if the event is canceled? Bethel takes its lead from the Minnesota Department of Health regarding the cancellation of events. If the need arises to cancel the event, an alternative virtual retreat will be provided for those who registered. This will be communicated via an email to students.
Is transportation provided? No, you will need to provide your own transportation to campus.
Will I get more information? Yes, a week before the retreat, registered students will receive an email with details.
Do attendees need to be "really into" science? Absolutely not. The retreat is designed to explore questions that occur at the intersection of science and faith. This retreat is for all who enjoy having fun and exploring hot topics, regardless of a small or huge interest in science.
