About our Speaker:
Mark Anderson is a 2nd generation leader of a family owned direct marketing business in north Minneapolis, called Impact. Partners for 30 years with brother-in-law, Tim Johnson, over the past 5 years they have been transitioning the business to 3rd generation owners Jake Bruhnding ‘08, Bjorn Anderson ‘10, and Erik Anderson ‘11. Prior to joining Impact in 1990, Mark was an MIS consultant with Ernst & Whinney (now Ernst & Young), and then a middle market commercial lender with First Bank (now US Bank). Mark’s primary strengths are in the area of finance and deal negotiation. His last 15 years have primarily been spent leading Impact through the process of negotiating five acquisitions, while managing the family's commercial real estate holdings. In addition, Mark enjoys mentoring relationships at work, church, and in the community.

Mark and wife, Maggie, raised five kids a stone’s throw from Bethel’s Ona Orth Athletic Complex. Katie ‘07 married to Jake ‘08, Bjorn ‘10 married to Anne ‘13, Erik ‘11 married to Maggie ‘12, Nik ‘14 married to Megan ‘18, and Lars ‘16 married to Nicole ‘16. Mark and Maggie, grandparents to 13 and counting, are hoping to close an “Anderson/Bruhnding package deal” for Bethel tuition beginning fall quarter 2028!
