Event Description
After quickly reviewing the basics of computer programming, the core of this camp is to introduce more advanced topics not typically covered in a high school computer science class. Topics may include graphical user interface, event-driven programming, animation, and artificial intelligence. In doing so, we hope to bring excitement of computer science to students beyond what a traditional course can showcase.
Students will work individually and in groups in hands-on guided tutorial labs to learn various computer programming concepts and techniques. These labs will be themed around making computer games, such as 1-player puzzle games like Minesweeper, 2-player games like Tic-Tac-Toe with AI opponent, or animation-based games.
Cancellations
Cancellations will be accepted until June 1. The payment will be refunded, less a $30 service fee.
