Event Description
Associate Professor of Education, Elisabeth Lefebvre, Ph.D., and senior Math Education major, Lindsey Tschetter, share their project that explores U.S. educational policy history since the 1950s, paying particular attention to the responses and perceptions of evangelicals.
Specifically in this presentation, they will consider education-focused Supreme Court cases starting with Brown v. Board of Education and moving forward as key moments when conversation surrounding education come to the forefront. They also look backward to see how evangelicals responded to those cases, thus shaping broader Christian engagement with public schooling.
