Event Description

The COVID-19 pandemic has been a period of widespread change. This presentation will describe social work students’ experiences of stress, loss, and grief during the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States based on three studies (quantitative, mixed methods, and qualitative) conducted between April 2020 and June 2021. Dr. Scheffert successfully defended her dissertation at Baylor University and her dissertation work which she is presenting has also been nominated for Baylor University's award for outstanding dissertation in social sciences.
