Event Description

The 2022 Summer Community Work-Study Bethel students will share their stories about working alongside and learning from Rondo, Frogtown, and Summit-University community members, wisdom bearers, and educators.

Summer Community Work-Study student collaborators, Max Lopez, Sarah Zalanga, Alise Ostercamp, Abby Gessesse, and Respect Djunga represent various disciplines including Reconciliation Studies, Community Health, Social Work, and Business.

Come celebrate the power of nurturing human connection across cultures, age groups, and socio-economic backgrounds; ponder the gift of neighborhood partnerships; address social disparities; and learn to care for the environment by working alongside community partners when tending to neighborhood gardens.
