Event Description
Have you ever seen a super-sonic ping-pong ball smash through ceramic pots? The eyes and knees of a bee enlarged by an electron microscope? An atomic clock made by students? If you are interested in studying physics and engineering at Bethel, you should see the myriad of opportunities that exist!
We have 15 different lab spaces to tour and many research and design projects that students and faculty members collaborate on, the National Science Foundation funds, and are presented nationally. Faculty will lead tours and current students will be in labs to describe and show off their projects.
Favorite demonstrations will be shown and a short presentation will be made summarizing the department’s opportunities.
