Event Description
The summer 2023 Community Work Study students (Amber Pomeroy: Elementary Education, Max Lopez: Business and Reconciliation Studies, and Respect Djunga: Community Health and Reconciliation Studies) will share their stories about working alongside and learning from Rondo, Frogtown, and Summit-University community members, wisdom-bearers, and educators.
Come celebrate the power of nurturing human connection across cultures, age groups, and socio-economic backgrounds; ponder the gift of neighborhood partnerships; address social disparities; and learn to care for the environment by working alongside community partners when tending to neighborhood gardens.
