NextGen Case Study Creation Workshop

Nursing faculty are invited to a NextGen Case Study Creation Workshop at Bethel University on Saturday, October 7, 2023 from 9 a.m. - noon. During this free workshop, participants will receive training in the creation of a 6-question case study, along with dedicated work time for participants to create their own 6-question case study. Facilitators will be available to provide feedback and consultation. A continental breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m. for those who attend in person. Additionally, participants will receive 3 CEUs upon completion of the workshop survey.

Participants must be nursing faculty who prepare their students for the NCLEX-RN.

This workshop is part of an ongoing research study titled, "The Impact of Team Training on Faculty Development of NextGen NCLEX 6-Question Case Studies, A Mixed Method Study." Research team is made up of Drs. Julie De Haan, Kayla Skeate, and Amy Witt. Participants will be given time during the workshop to sign an informed consent and complete a pre- and post-survey. Participation in the research is voluntary and not a requirement for workshop attendance and training.
