Event Description
The Bethel Special Education Department would like to invite you to our third annual Refresh Gathering!
We see you, special educators, and we want to honor and celebrate you. You pour your life into K-12 students with disabilities despite challenges in special education. Come refresh and enjoy a time of community, laughter and learning. You deserve it! After the event, we would love to have some extended time with you and invite you to join us for an optional networking lunch.
There will be:
- Therapy dogs
- Door prizes
- Live music
- Professional development
- ...and more!

- 9-9:30 a.m. | Check-In
- 9:30-9:50 a.m. | Opening Session
- 9:50 am- 10 a.m. | Fellowship/Activities/Networking
- 10-10:45 a.m. | Professional Development #1
- 10:45-10:55 a.m. | Fellowship/Activities/Networking
- 10:55-11:40 a.m. | Professional Development #2
- 11:40 a.m.-Noon | Closing Prayer and Farewell
- Noon-1 p.m. | Optional Networking Lunch ($11)
IMPORTANT NOTE: In order to preserve the unique atmosphere desired for this event, this is strictly an in-person event. Virtual attendence is not available at this time.
Registration is open to all special education professionals and those with interest in the field. We encourage you to bring a friend or colleague who would appreciate this gathering and who may be interested in learning more about Bethel.
A special drawing will be held for those who bring a guest interested in Bethel's SPED programs.
