Alumni Broomball Tournament

All alumni are invited to play in the seventh annual Alumni Broomball Tournament! Round up a team of at least 6 players, come dressed in warm winter gear, bring your own broomball stick, and show up to win! Pool play will take place throughout the day at Bethel’s on-campus broomball rink leading up to our 4-team bracket play! All members of the championship team will receive a custom Bethel prize (believe us, it’s worth playing for)!

Registration Details:

• Cost to enter is $75 per team.

• Must have 6 players to enter with no more than 12 players on a team.

• Each team must have at least 2 female players (2 females must be on the ice for a team at all times).

• Each team can have up to 2 non-alumni players.

Tournament Details:

Note: This year’s tournament will consist of 8 teams.

• Team captains are to report to Bethel’s on-campus broomball rink to check-in their team 15 minutes prior to the start of their team’s first game.

• The first game will begin at 12 p.m. at the Bethel Broomball Rink.

• We have 8 teams playing in this year’s tournament, so we will have an 8-team bracket. We will play for a consolation championship, 3rd place and a championship.

• Every team is guaranteed 2 games. Each game will be 24 minutes each (11 minute halves with a 2 minute halftime).

• All members of the championship team will receive a custom Thermos.

• 11:45 a.m. | Game 1 Check-in

• Noon | Game 1 Begins

• 12:15 p.m. | Game 2 Check-in

• 12:30 p.m. | Game 2 Begins

• 12:45 p.m. | Game 3 Check-in

• 1 p.m. | Game 3 Begins

• 1:15 p.m. | Game 4 Check-in

• 1:30 p.m. | Game 4 Begins
