Learning Lab: How to Save Time With Moodle, presented by Justin Aakre, Instructional Technology Specialist a.k.a. “Moodle Whisperer”
What is most frustrating to you about Moodle? What do you wish Moodle did that it doesn't do?
All CAPS/SEM/GS faculty are invited to learn from Justin's "Moodle Whisperer" skills how to:
- Import a Moodle template
- Set start dates
- Verify assignment due dates
- Remove duplicate Announcements
- How Announcements connect with MoodleAnalytics
- Remove extra weeks
- Verify the grade book structure
- Convert discussion forums to whole forum grading
- Add a break week
- Change from one-week modules to two-week modules
- Mass actions (e.g., wiping a Moodle if you’ve imported it incorrectly)
