Event Description
Connect, collaborate, and conspire for building racially just campuses across Minnesota! Join Minnesota Education Equity Partnership (MnEEP) and Bethel University for a FREE convening on February 29 from 10:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. Lunch will be served.
Who Should Attend:
This event is a must-attend for higher education leaders, staff, faculty, DEI leaders, students, and advocates of racial equity. Participants will have the opportunity to network, collaborate, and exchange ideas and effective strategies for building more racially just college campuses.
What You’ll Learn:

Insights into how higher-ed institutions are adapting following the Supreme Court's decision to overturn affirmative action, and effective tactics for increasing racial diversity and racial equity.

Strategies and progress reports from Bethel University’s Inclusive Excellence Committee, specifically in areas of Climate (perceptions and environment), Composition (access and equity), and Character (curriculum and community engagement), and their implementation of Cultural Intelligence.

Updates on new higher-ed policies and objectives for 2024.

Ways to engage and learn from each other in creating effective practices and fostering campuses that embrace racial equity and belonging.
