We are pleased to invite you to the Beyond Suffering: A Christian View on Disability Ministry
This conference will bring together leaders from the Joni and Friends organization to address the issue that the church is largely unprepared for the burgeoning disabled population. The primary focus of the conference will be to educate and prepare leaders in ministry, education, medicine, and science to become involved in this life-changing ministry..
The conference will include keynote speakers and breakout sessions covering topics from the Beyond Suffering curriculum.
Session One: Why Minister to People Living with Disability
Session Two: God’s Sovereignty in Disability and Suffering
Session Three: Developing a Healthy Disability Ministry
Session Four: Serving Diverse Families in your Church
We believe that attending this conference will provide you with an opportunity to gain insights and learn from experts in the field, while providing opportunities to network with other professionals who are passionate about caring for people with disabilities.
Registration for the conference is now open. Cost to attend in-person or virtually is $25. All proceeds will go directly to the Minnesota office of Joni and Friends.
