Event Description
Our Moodle Whisperer, Justin Aakre, is back to show us several advanced Moodle features. The CAPS/SEM/GS Faculty Development Committee invites all Bethel University faculty and staff who use Moodle to this Learning Lab on Zoom.
Justin will teach us about:
- Creating rubrics—differences in rubrics and marking guides
- Setting up groups and groupings
- Using Poodll for audio and video feedback in forums
- Understanding similarity scores and AI detection in Turnitin
- Reading a Log Report to see when a student last accessed a Moodle; using Log Reports to track course engagement
- Tips for efficiently grading essay questions
- Finding information about Moodle on Confluence
