Event Description
In anticipation of the 24th anniversary of September 11, 2001, this session invites the Bethel community to reflect on the lasting significance of 9/11. Drawing on what Professor Wickam learned at the 2025 9/11 Memorial & Museum’s Educator Institute, the session will begin with a review of key facts about 9/11. It will feature compelling stories about the events and their aftermath, opening space for dialogue about ethical leadership, resilience, and bravery.
Professor Wickam will also share her curated workbook of resources (videos, lesson plans, primary sources, links to photos of memorials) designed to support deeper understanding, remembrance, and teaching about this pivotal moment in history.
