Event Description
You’re invited to Brain Day—an interactive exploration of the human brain!
Brain Day is a hands-on, immersive experience designed for curious students who want to explore how the brain shapes everything we see, feel, taste, and think. Through engaging demonstrations and interactive stations, participants will experience firsthand how perception can be tricked, how the senses work together, and how neuroscientists study the brain.
Guests will rotate through activities such as visual and perceptual illusions, sensory experiments (including taste-altering demonstrations), and interactive brain-based challenges led by faculty and college students in neuroscience, psychology, and biology. These experiences are designed to be fun, surprising, and grounded in real science—showing how complex and fascinating the human brain truly is.
Students should attend if they enjoy hands-on learning, are curious about neuroscience, psychology, biology, or health sciences, or want to experience what studying the brain looks like at the college level. Brain Day is an opportunity to explore science beyond textbooks, ask questions, and see how research connects to everyday life.
