Event Description
This Learning Lab is designed for faculty who want to develop a sustainable research agenda alongside teaching and service, especially professors who are just getting started with research or want to revitalize their research agenda. We’ll explore practical ways to claim your identity as a researcher, mine your own courses for publishable studies, and get Institutional Review Board approval. You’ll see practical examples of time management, finding a community of like-minded scholars, and using AI tools to support tasks like idea generation, finding literature, and creating presentations. The Learning Lab will include about 35 minutes of direct instruction followed by about 15 minutes of focused discussion on the ideas that were presented.
