Along Iron Lines
Featuring Thirteen Bethel Art Majors
Friday, February 7
through Sunday, February 23, 2014
About the Show
Along Iron Lines is the Bethel art major senior thesis exhibition. The artists utilize traditional and non-traditional media ranging from paint, photography, clay, to sculpture, design and re-design. The work explores themes just as varied, from memory, myth, and mood to religion, function/dysfuction, and art itself.
About the Artists
Art and art education majors take Senior Seminar, the department capstone course, during fall semester. They develop and focus their ideas creating the body of work the pieces in this show were drawn from. In May, they exhibit new work at a gallery in the Thorpe Building in NE Minneapolis as part of the annual Art-A-Whirl, May 16-18.
Thursday, February 13, 5-7 p.m.
