Forging a New Path Through Faith

During her time at Bethel, Hannah Quinn ’17 has faced personal and financial trials unlike any she could have imagined when she chose—last-minute—to attend the school. Quinn credits Bethel with not only providing a supportive community for walking with and encouraging her through those hard times but equipping her with the tools and conviction to own her faith and overcome difficulties fueled by a personal understanding of redemption.

“I gained a different appreciation for who Jesus is and what He did for me—that it wasn’t what I did, but what He already did on the cross [that mattered], and this really motivated me to continue learning and growing in my faith,” Quinn says.

Later in her Bethel journey, Quinn gave back to the community that had been so supportive of her by becoming the director of Bethel Student Ministries. In this role, she leads a team of 15 committee members—building personal relationships through individual meetings and also enriching students’ spiritual lives throughout campus. "Looking back on my experience at Bethel, I am so full of thankfulness and gratitude,” she says. “And I truly believe that Bethel has equipped me with the tools to continue growing even after my time here is done.”
