The Bethel University Inclusive Learning and Development (BUILD) program is a 2-year postsecondary, residential program for young adults with intellectual disabilities that focuses on academic, vocational, residential, and social learning experiences. Not only will BUILD students earn a certificate, but they'll develop skills to live independently, find a job they love, and live up to their God-given potential.
Bethel University focuses on developing the whole person: academically, spiritually, physically, and relationally. That's what makes Bethel's new program different: our holistic, Christian approach to higher education.
We believe strongly in the need for and potential of this program. Is your heart stirred by this special opportunity? Please consider a gift to BUILD.
Our goal is to raise $500,000 to fund start-up costs to:
- Hire a program director
- Prepare curriculum and materials
- Make required facilities accommodations
- Start a scholarship fund
Join us to help young people with intellectual disabilities prepare for a rich, full, and more independent life!
