Due to the winter weather in St. Paul, late-afternoon and evening classes are canceled at Bethel University. All classes beginning at 2:50 p.m. or later are canceled. This includes classes for the College of Arts & Sciences, Bethel Seminary St. Paul, the Graduate School, and the College of Adult & Professional Studies.

All non-essential services on the St. Paul campus will close at 3 p.m. This will allow employees extra time to travel home this evening and Facilities Management staff time to prepare campus for tomorrow morning.

  • Parents of children at the Child Development Center are asked to pick up their children no later than 3 p.m.
  • Monson Dining Center will remain open. 3900 Grill and Royal Grounds will be closed.
  • The Bethel University Library will keep regular hours, closing at midnight. The Bethel Seminary Library will close at 4 p.m.
  • The Wellness Center will keep regular hours, closing at 11 p.m.
  • The Bethel shuttles will end service at 3:30 p.m.
  • Any changes to athletic events will be announced through Bethel Athletics.

Non-exempt or hourly employees should mark the time on their timesheets in the “emergency” column. Exempt or salaried employees need not report anything on their leave reports. Please refer to the "Campus Emergency and Campus Closing Policy" in the Employee Handbook for more detailed information on timesheets.
