Classes Canceled on January 29 and 30

Due to the extremely cold temperatures predicted for St. Paul, all day and evening classes at Bethel University are canceled for January 29 and 30.

Due to the extremely cold temperatures predicted in St. Paul, all classes at Bethel University are canceled for Tuesday, January 29, and Wednesday, January 30. This includes day and evening classes. All non-essential services, including the Bethel University Child Development Center, are closed.

Non-exempt or hourly employees should mark the time on their timesheets in the "emergency" column. Exempt or salaried employees need not report anything on their leave reports. Please refer to the "Campus Emergency and Campus Closing Policy" in the Employee Handbook for more detailed information on timesheets.

Additional campus information:

  • Residence halls and meal service will proceed as scheduled for Interim break.
  • There will be no campus shuttle on Tuesday and Wednesday.
  • Campus buildings will be open normal business hours.
  • [Update at 9 p.m.] The Bethel University Library will be closed.
  • The Wellness Center will be open from 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Any changes to athletic events will be announced through Bethel Athletics.
  • Bethel Theatre rehearsals for “Into the Woods” will occur as scheduled.
