Bethel University to Resume Normal Operations at Noon on January 31

All morning classes for Thursday, January 31, are canceled and non-essential employees do not need to report to work until noon.

Normal operations at Bethel University will begin again at noon on Thursday, January 31. All morning classes are canceled and non-essential services, including the Bethel University Child Development Center, will be closed until noon.

Non-exempt or hourly employees should mark the time on their timesheets in the "emergency" column. Exempt or salaried employees need not report anything on their leave reports. Please refer to the "Campus Emergency and Campus Closing Policy" in the Employee Handbook for more detailed information on timesheets.

Additional campus information:

  • Residence halls and meal service will continue as scheduled for Interim break.
  • There will be no campus shuttle on Thursday morning.
  • Campus buildings will be open normal business hours.
  • The Child Development Center will open at noon.
  • The Bethel University Library will open at noon.
  • The Wellness Center will open at 7 a.m.
  • Any changes to athletic events will be announced through Bethel Athletics.
