On March 21, 2022, in the Alumni Lounge, President Ross Allen welcomed guests to the unveiling of the Curt and Zelda Fauth Alumni Honoree Wall. Adorned with plaques, the wall holds the names of nearly 100 Bethel alumni who’ve proven to be remarkable leaders and servants in their communities, churches, and workplaces.

The wall was named in honor of Curt and Zelda Fauth, whose children designated funds both to create the wall and to increase alumni involvement in the Bethel community. The Fauth family’s Bethel legacy began with Curt Fauth ’54, who first came to Bethel as a student in the 1950s. He later came back to Bethel to serve nine years as director of Alumni and Family Relations. During his tenure, Curt Fauth helped start the tradition of Family Weekend and he established alumni meetings across the country, which are now known as Royal Nation.

Four out of five of Curt and Zelda Fauth’s children attended Bethel, as did several of their grandchildren. “The entire Fauth family is an inspiring example of the strength of our alumni community,” Allen said, “as are those who are honored on the wall behind me.”

More than 50,000 students have graduated from Bethel, and many remain connected to the community long after they leave. Some become employees or donors. Others give of their time and talents in the classroom or on the athletic fields. Some become partners in prayer and ministry. “I am so grateful for our alumni's continued involvement in our community,” Allen said. “We are truly better together.”
