Dock removal signals the coming of winter

With beloved DTR location gone, students are unsure about relationship development.

Nick Patrick, a student at Bethel University, always knows that winter is on its way when the dock is removed from Lake Valentine.

“I always know what’s going on here at campus,” explained Patrick. “Nothing gets past me. I figured winter must be coming when I saw that the dock was gone.”

The days of fishing, studying and DTRing on the dock are over until spring rolls around again.

Students campus-wide are taking notice of the void where the dock used to reside.

“We want the dock to stay as long as possible,” commented sophomore Debby Craigster. “When they remove the dock, I know that fall is officially over.”

Patrick and other students on campus are already looking forward to the joyous return of the dock in the spring.
