Biography

Anna Pexa, RN, MSN, joins the Nursing Department at Bethel University with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in Leadership and Management from Walden University and over a decade of experience in the nursing field. Since beginning her career in 2012, she has worked in diverse settings including home care case management, skilled nursing visits, private duty pediatric care, emergency room psychiatry, clinical coordination and utilization review for inpatient psychiatry, and ambulatory float nursing. Alongside her academic role, Anna is passionate about holistic nurse coaching and helping women realign their lives and discover purpose. She is also a co-author of two books that feature her work on mindset and personal growth. Anna is a wife and mother of three beautiful children ages 21, 18, and 14. In her free time Anna enjoys reading, kayaking, hiking, and spending time with her family and friends. She is actively involved in her church, volunteering, participating in small groups, and leading midsize groups that foster faith and community.
