Biography

Dr. Elizabeth Allison is an experienced soloist, collaborative pianist, and teacher. She earned a B.M. in Piano Performance from Kent State University, an M.F.A. in Piano from the University of Iowa, and a D.M.A. in Piano from the University of Kansas, where she was awarded a doctoral fellowship. Before coming to Bethel University, Dr. Allison has held teaching positions at several colleges and universities throughout Iowa. She is currently the Director of Keyboard Activities and Instructor in Piano at Bethel University, where she teaches private piano lessons, keyboard theory classes for music majors and minors, and oversees the keyboard performance and piano proficiency programs.

In addition to her academic roles, Dr. Allison is an active performer in the Twin Cities area and serves as a collaborative accompanist at Bethel University.
