Dr. Helen Trenz is the Director of Research at the Center for Health Care Research at UnitedHealth Group. Previously, she was with Optum Life Sciences as a Senior Health Economics Researcher with the Health Economics and Outcomes Research team. Dr. Trenz earned her MA in International Development from American University and PhD in Applied Economics with a focus on Health Economics from the University of Minnesota. At Bethel she teaches undergraduate and graduate economics courses in the CAPS and MBA programs.
