Biography

Melinda (Mindy) Way-Johnson has served as a church musician for most of her life, directing vocal and handbell choirs and playing both piano and organ. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota, and a Master of Sacred Music from Luther Seminary in St. Paul.

She recently retired from a career teaching elementary music in the Roseville Area School District. For the past 20 years, she has been the director of handbell choirs at Fairmount Avenue United Methodist Church.
