Biography

Dr. Hovis received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Family studies from Bethel University. He then pursued his terminal Master of Arts at Wheaton College Graduate School, and further obtained his Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College Graduate School. Clinically, Dr. Hovis has worked in a variety of settings, including community mental health, college counseling, inpatient and outpatient hospitals, and private practice. Dr. Hovis is a licensed psychologist (MN) and a Board-Approved LPC/LPCC Supervisor (Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy).
